AUNTIE'S NAMEDAY

The word "Nameday" evokes a truly unique and cherished sentiment in my mind. In Poland, Nameday is a special occasion dedicated to celebrating one's name, with each name having its designated day. It's a tradition held dear by the older generation, often more than their own birthdays. I wanted to pay homage to this tradition and recreate the specific memories it holds, right from the interior design to the overall ambiance. My hope was to capture and convey even a fraction of the essence that makes Nameday so heartwarming and special.
